Sobeys is the second largest food vendor in Canada and it is part of the conglomerate Empire Company Limited.Sobeys began as a horse-drawn meat cart in Stellartion, Nova Scotia in 1907. Over a100 years later, Sobeys have over 1,300 supermarkets operating under a variety of banners, 300 stores under the Sobeys brand; stores are located in all ten provinces. Sobeys Inc sales are more than $15.8 billion CAD.
